The food is excellent except the broccoli was over cooked. The service was great,but the atmosphere was not good. It is very tight in there. If weather permits I recommend eating outside seating. Not wheelchair or crutches friendly. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. Oh the sweet potato pound cake is exquisite. The fried flounder and salmon, fries and mac n cheese was awesome. I'm going back very soon.
I came here twice and both times were a vibe! My first time coming here, I took my interns out for dinner. The ambiance was so welcoming and chill . The food was great and service was amazing. Everyone enjoyed and said 10/10. My second time here was better than the first. I brought my cousin here after she flew in from Florida and she cannot stop talking about how delicious the jerk turkey wings tasted. We sat outside because inside was full. It was a hot day in CLT but the outside seating area had a nice fan and shade so we were cool. They also play chill r&b that you can hear both inside and outside . Jordan was our server and he was great! Very attentive and great conversation. The ladies that greeted us from the time we came in made sure we enjoyed. Thank you! Can’t wait to come back !
This is one of the best restaurants in the charlotte area hands down. The food was delicious, 10/10 and the portion sizes were perfect!!!! Is it pricey? Yes, but it's worth EVERY penny! I will definitely be coming back again.
The cornbread and fried chicken were the real stars, perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and tender inside. The cornbread was moist with just the right touch of sweetness. The shrimp had a nice flavor and a bit of a buttery kick. The mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy, and the greens brought a nice savory balance to the plate. Overall, a satisfying meal that hits those soul food cravings right on target. Service
This was our first visit. I'm so glad that I found Sol-Delish. Great atmosphere, music, staff and food! Jamal and Ms. Gloria were so good to us. The food was amazing. We will be back. Highly recommend.
